I have a phenomenal ability to catch flying objects with my face. There isn’t a rocket in Quake that I can’t catch, or a hook in DotA that won’t grab me. Being gifted this way hasn’t helped me in real life either, you’d think that I’d make for a good goalkeeper, but it gets painful pretty fast. I’m of course exaggerating, but I sure do feel stupid when I walk into a spell that wasn’t gonna hit me in the first place.

Drawing Windrunner the way I did made me feel a bit ashamed. I kind’a have a nerd crush on her. I’m sorry Windrunner, I didn’t mean to. I like you. It’s cute how you’re a bit simple in the head. Beautiful red head.

Ever since I got to DotA 2 beta, I’ve been playing it in great amounts. I have very little prior experience of the MOBA genre, so I encountered a lot of hostility at first. Luckily some of my gaming mates tutored me for a few rounds and now I dare say I’m good or average when compared to the people the matchmaking system puts me with. As a new player, I find DotA 2 pretty good. It’s rather addictive, suddenly I noticed that I had played 40 hours in a few days and was reading guides and spectating matches. The ability to spectate matches while in match queue is awesome.

Oh Windrunner can you ever forgive me?

I’m afraid that I’m in love with thee.

Close my eyes, I see your fiery red hair,

To have you, I’d wrestle a monstrous bear.

The sound of your voice, angelic to me,

It disarms me, no staff, see?

Windrunner, if you’re reading this,

Send me a kiss.
